Having opened on December 12, 1994, Hospital San Javier has been in place for over 20 years and identified by its constant state-of-the-art innovation and hospitable care. This is the first private hospital in Latin America to introduce scalpel-free brain radiosurgery through its Gamma Knife Unit. It also is the first hospital in the west of Mexico to have been awarded a certification as a Specialty Hospital and is recognized for its outstanding performance in areas such as gastroenterology, neurosurgery, cardiology, oncology, traumatology, transplantations, among others, that are serviced by recognized specialty physicians in their area.
