Allura Xper FD20
This is state-of-the-art angiography with a monoplane system to perform cardiovascular, neurovascular, and peripheral vascular procedures. These applications are facilitated by using its suspended C-arm and a high-resolution digital imaging system; it combines high-technology systems and devices, such as: the Flat Detector, with a visual field of 49, 42, 31 and 22 inches and LCD screen anti-radiation monitors, which are undoubtedly very important both for the user and for the patient. Furthermore, there is a safety device (electromagnetic sensor) which completely stops its movement to prevent any harm during rotation.
Applications:
- Invasive Cardiology, there are 15- and 30-frame-per-second imaging software which enable obtaining high-definition angiography images and performing 2-D rotational angiography which is especially important to patients with kidney failure as this enables viewing the coronary artery tree with a single injection. There also is software in place to make quantitative measurements and calculations on left ventriculography, for ejection fraction, wall reduction, diameter measurement, and percentage stenosis per area in coronary arteriography.
- Neuroradiology. It is possible to obtain digital images by using digital subtraction and rotational angiography with 3-D reconstruction; to make percentage quantification of lesions or per area, likewise to reconstruct and to simulate intra-arterial stent placement and virtual endoscopy navigation.
- Vascular Peripheral. There is software in place to obtain high-resolution images by way of digital angiography, digital subtraction angiography, tracking the bolus, and rotational angiography with 3-D reconstruction, including lesion measurement and quantification software as well as simulation of stent implantation and endoprosthesis.
Allura Xper FD20 Angiography is performed with a suspended C-arm which enables displacing the arch in the crown-to-rump direction along the table to obtain whole-body images without moving the patient; in addition, you the arm can be rotated in a horizontal or vertical direction. These features are completely automatic and provide safety in emergency situations.
Among the innovations of the C-Arm is its capacity to rotate at a great speed from one position to another. The propelling movement reaches a maximum rotation speed of up to 55° per second and the oscillating motion reaches a maximum rotation speed of up to 30° per second, which provides positioning time reduction from one position to another and, therefore, less test time and risk reduction as artery occlusion time is decreased.
In addition, there is an angiography table which rotates both horizontally and vertically, including a reverse Trendelemburg and/or Fowler system.
Images are recorded in CD and/or X-ray plates with digital quality. Recording modes are CD, CDR Viewerlite and DVD Windows Media Player.
