Hospital San Javier is the first private hospital in Western Mexico to earn a certification as a Specialties Hospital in accordance with the provisions of the National Medical Care Establishments Certification Program conducted by the General Board of Health from the 2000s, which certification has been re-earned in every relevant period and maintained by the hospital for 15 years in a row now.
